Using various Project Management techniques, we will oversee the planning, design, specification and delivery of a construction project from inception to completion. We focus on efficiency with a cost control emphasis while maintaining focus on client core deliverables. This extends to procuring all professional services or working with a client appointed design team.
We develop design solutions that not only give visual pleasure to our clients but are site sensitive and extremely practical. Our design process considers input from all stakeholders – clients, staff and end users – and we work within limits (physical, logistical, financial) to achieve a product that is highly functional. Accessibility and universal design are central to our design ethos.
We provide a Cost Management service to our clients where we use a budget-led decision making process. We identify the critical deliverables of a project and list out the ‘nice to have’ elements. This allows us, in conjunction with the client, to pre-approve a list of scope or specification changes at a very early stage in the project that we can use to offset variations that arise. We can only do this by investing time and effort in understanding our clients’ business and key objectives of the project.
Consolidation of the public realm is important to us and where possible we look for opportunities to create public spaces where people want to linger. We examine the choreography of public space both internally and externally, through how people are directed to use them, how accessible the space is, and, where external, how weather may mitigated or maximised.
We carry out assessment of proposed investment opportunities for our clients. This involves but is not restricted to, site assessment, building surveys, refurbishment costs, capital expenditure plans, ROI opportunities, risk assessment and statutory consents.
