Brief:
Our clients were interested in purchasing this iconic property and required a building survey and technical due diligence carried out. Once the purchase was completed they wished to refurbish and restore the property and create a landmark destination.
Response:
Under the first phase of the project, we prepared, in conjunction with the clients, a plan of action to develop the property on completion of the purchase. In delivering the second phase, we project managed, cost controlled and helped design a major refurbishment of the premises. This included refurbishing 41 sea facing bedrooms and ensuites and restoring a spa to the property with a heavy emphasis on accessibility. The external spa area has stunning views towards the Harbour, Garnish Island and Bantry Bay.
